The Bastide St. Mathieu is a magnificent 18th Century Provencal manor house.A glorious setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions in the South of France. Surrounded by a hectare of gardens with olive trees, lavender and brightly coloured flowers. Located in the heart of the famous Grasse perfume country at 25 minutes drive from Nice airport and 15 minutes from Cannes, the French Riviera coast and its beaches.The venue harmoniously combines tradition and luxurious comfort with its authentic exposed stone walls, huge baronial style rooms with open fires, cornflower blue shutters, superbly inspired interior design and sumptuous décor and furnishings. As well as being a fabulous wedding venue, the Bastide St. Mathieu becomes ‘chez-vous’; with its 6 large bedrooms and suites and 2 smaller bedrooms, all in seriously grown-up rooms decorated in exciting style and each representing one of the great characters of the Riviera such as Cole Porter, Coco Chanel and Sisi, the Empress of Austria. The Bastide St. Mathieu sleeps up to 16 people.Furthermore, Provencal stone roofed Cuisine D’ete for outside summer dining with full BBQ facilities; great for all day and night entertaining. Housed in an 18th-century manor house, the Bastide St Mathieu is set on a 2-hectare property in Grasse. It offers a flowered garden, antique-style furniture and an outdoor swimming pool.
