The car-free resort 1350 metres above sea level is only reachable by cable car from the Lauterbrunnen Valley50 km of ski slopes are available in the area. Experienced skiers can ski right down to the front door. There is a also a cross-country skiing track in the valley between Lauterbrunnen and Stechelberg. In summer, you can enjoy hiking and fishing in a nearby lake.The Bern-Belp Airport is reachable within a 1-hour drive. Please note, that the car-free resort is only reachable by cable car from the Lauterbrunnen Valley.Please note that the restaurant is open from- 20 December to 15 April- 15 June to 30 September
